Author Biography

Eugenia Macías Guzmán, Fomento Cultural Grupo Salinas

Eugenia Macías is a restorer (ENCRyM-INAH, Mexico), has a Master's Degree in Social Anthropology from the Center for Research and Higher Studies in Social Anthropology (CIESAS) and a PhD in Art History from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Specialist in photography, visual anthropology and art of the twentieth century in Mexico, she was a researcher and curator at the Museum of Modern Art-INBAL, Arkheia Documentation Center (MUAC-UNAM), ENES-Morelia (UNAM). She received the INAH Paul Coremans Award (2000), the Richard Gilder (2008) endorsement from the American Museum of Natural History (USA) as co-author of the Book on Carl Lumholtz (ed. University of Texas, Austin). She is a professor-researcher in the Master's Degree in Conservation of Documentary Collections at the ENCRyM-INAH, Mexico.
